Are you looking to apply for your GEPCO new connection but unsure of the application process? You’ve come to the right place! Now, you can also apply online for your new connection process.

If you’ve purchased a property and need to change the name on your connection or correct a name mistake on your bill, our step-by-step guide can help you easily complete these tasks.

GEPCO New Connection Procedure

To apply for a new GEPCO connection, you have the option of visiting the GEPCO office or using their online platform for Electricity New Connections (ENC). The online system allows you to select your connection type and enter the necessary details to apply for your new connection.

  • To apply for a connection with the Electric Network Company (ENC), visit their official website at http://enc.com.pk.
  • Once there, select “Apply” from the sidebar menu. You will need to enter the reference number of your neighbor and choose the connection category, such as 15kW.
  • Then, provide your basic details and upload the required documents, including a property document copy, attested CNIC copy of the applicant, attested CNIC copy of the witness, neighbor’s electricity bill copy, and wiring contractor’s test report.
  • Complete and submit your application form. Once submitted, you will receive a tracking ID. Using the sidebar menu of ENC, you can click on “Print Form” and enter your tracking ID to generate a printout of your application.
  • Be sure to attach hard copies of all required documents with your printed application form. Once your application and documents are submitted, a demand notice will be generated for payment.
  • You can download this notice by entering your tracking ID on the ENC website. After settling the payment at the designated bank, forward a duplicate of the payment request notification to the appropriate department. Your connection will be installed after the verification of your payment.

Change Connection Name/Tariff/Load

Here are the steps to modify your connection’s name, tariff, or load:

  • Go to the official ENC website by clicking on the provided link.
  • From the sidebar menu, click on the “Change” option.
  • Select the type(s) of change you want to make (name, load, or tariff).
  • Fill in only the necessary details for the specific change you’re requesting.
  • Attach the following documents, ensuring that each file does not exceed 300 KB in size: an attested CNIC copy, a copy of your electricity bill, and proof of property ownership.
  • Submit your application and keep the tracking ID for future reference.
  • To print your application form, use the “Print Form” option in the sidebar menu on ENC. Enter your tracking ID to generate the form.
  • Print the form and attach hard copies of all necessary documents.
  • Now send the application and attached documents to the appropriate office. After verification, a demand notice will be issued.
  • You can use your tracking ID to download it from the ENC website. Then, make a payment in the amount specified in the demand notice at the designated bank.
  • Afterward, submit the duplicate copy of the paid demand notification to the appropriate department. Once the payment is verified, the requested changes will be implemented.

GEPCO New Connection Tracking

To monitor the progress of your application for a new connection or any changes to your existing service such as name, tariff, or load, you will require your unique Tracking ID. This ID was issued to you upon completion and submission of your application form.

  • To track your application, start by visiting the ENC website.
  • Then, navigate to the sidebar and click on “Track.” From there, select the application type – whether it’s a new connection or a change of name/tariff/load.
  • After that, choose the company – in this case, it’s GEPCO.
  • Finally, enter your Tracking ID and click the “Submit” button.
